Mini Dahi Vada [curd vada]-How to make-Stepwise pictures & video

How to make Mini dahi vada[bonda] video
Ingredients
- Urad dal – 1 cup
- Curd – 2 cups
- Green chilli – 1[finely chopped]
- Ginger – 1 tbsp [finely chopped]
- Curry leaves – 1 spring [finely chopped]
- Salt to taste
- Sugar - 1 tbsp
- Oil for deep frying[apr.¼ ltr]
- Water as needed
For Tempering
- Oil - 1 tbsp
- Mustard - 1 tsp
- Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
- Curry leaves - 1 spring
For garnishing
- Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp [finely chopped]
- Red chilli powder – ½ tbsp
Preparation
- Wash and soak urad dal for 5 hours.
- Then put it in a mixie jar, grind to smooth batter with small amount of water
- Transfer batter to a bowl
- Add coriander, curry leaves, ginger, green chilli & salt mix well
- Take a bowl with curd, add salt & sugar mix well & keep it aside.
- For tempering: -Add 1 tbsp oil in a ladle, add mustard, curry leaves, asafoetida
- Add tempering ingredients to curd mixture mix well
- Heat oil in a pan, drop urad dal balls in hot oil, deep fry till light brown
- Add fried balls in curd mixture, soak it for 5 min
- Sprinkle coriander, red chilli powder, serve

In a bowl add whole urad dal
Add water, soak it for 3 hours
Soaked urad dal ready
Put it in a mixie jar
Grind to smooth & fluffy batter with small amount of water
Fluffy batter ready
Transfer batter to a bowl, beat well
Add salt
add ginger, curry leaves, coriander leaves
Mix well
Make small balls, drop it in hot oil
Deep fry till crisp & golden brown
Now its ready, remove it from oil
Drain on absorbent paper
In a bowl add curd, sugar & salt
Add seasoned ingredients
Mix well
Add mini vada, coriander
Sprinkle red chilli powder
Soak it for 5 min then serveimmediatley or chilled
