Samba rava upma | Wheat upma | Broken Wheat Rava Upma

Ingredients
- Wheat rava - 1 cup
- Onion - 1[sliced]
- Tomato - 1[chopped]
- Carrot - 1 [cut in to long strips]
- Green chilli - 1 [chopped]
- Ginger - 1 tbsp [finely chopped]
- Curry leaves - 1 spring
- Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp
- Mustard seeds - 1 tbsp
- Urad dal - 1 tbsp
- Bengal gram - 1 tbsp
- Oil - 3 tbsp
- Water - 2 ½ cup
- Salt to taste
Preparation
- Dry roast rava and keep it aside.
- Heat pan with oil then add mustard seeds. Once it’s spluttered add Bengal gram, urad dal and onion sauté till light brown then add ginger, green chilli and curry leaves sauté gently.
- Add chopped tomato sauté till raw smell out.
- Add water then add salt mix well and leave it for boil.
- Once water comes to boil add dry roasted rava then mix well and stir for one minute.
- Keep upma in the pan itself with lid closed about 5 minutes.
- Add chopped coriander leaves serve hot with chutney, banana, and sugar.

- While serve add ghee
