Ingredients
- Samak rice (Little Millet) – 1 cup
- Moong dal- ¼ cup
- Ghee – 3 tbsp
- Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
- Ginger – 1 inch
- Curry leaves – 1 leaf
- Peppercorn – 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Water – 2 ½ cups
Preparation
- Wash samak rice and moong dal.
- Put this mixture in a cooker with water, ghee then cook for 4 whistle.
- Heat pan with ghee then add cumin seeds, pepper corns, ginger and curry leaves then cut off heat. Add this to cooked samak mixture. Then add salt and ghee mix well. Serve hot with coconut chutney.
