Coconut Rava Ladoo [Thengai rava laddu]-How to make-Step by step photos with Video

Ingredients
- Rava [sooji, semolina] – 1 cup
- Coconut - 1/2 cup
- Sugar – ½ cup
- Green cardamom – 3
- Cashew nuts & Raisins – 2 tbsp
- Ghee – 4 tbsp
Preparation
- Heat ghee in a pan roast cashew nuts & raisins
- Same pan add coconut roast for 1 min then transfer to a plate keep it aside
- Heat same pan, add 3 tbsp ghee, 1 cup rava, roast for 2 min then transfer to a plate keep it aside
- Heat pan add 1/2 cup sugar, 1/3 cup water, boil till 1 string consistency
- Then add roasted rava, coconut, cardamom powder, nuts mix well for 1 min
- Then cut off heat, cover lid, keep it aside for 5 min
- 5 min later, mix well, Divide the mixture into equal size ladoos
- Let it cool then store it in an airtight container use within 7 days

Coconut Rava Laddu
Rava coconut balls
Add cashews
Add raisins
Roast till light brown
Transfer to a plate, keep it aside
Add coconut
Roast for 1 min
Roasted coconut ready
Add 3 tbsp ghee
Add 1 cup rava
Roast for 2 min
Roast till you get nice aroma
Transfer to a plate, keep it aside
For sugar syrup:- add 1/2 cup sugar
Add 1/3 cup water
Let it melt, then boil till 1 string consistency
Perfect consistency
Add roasted rava
add roasted coconut
Cardamom powder
Add roasted cashews & Raisins
Mix well
Now its ready, Rava absorbed all the sugar syrup
Cover lid, keep it aside
Gently mix
Divide the mixture into equal size balls
Perfect ladoo ready
