Cuisine Style: India | Preparation & Cooking Time: 30 min | Kulfi Setting Time: 10 to 12 hours | To Serve: 4 | Type: Sweet, dessert, summer special

Ingredients

  • Milk – 3 cups
  • Sweet condenced milk – ½ cup
  • Almonds & Pistachios – ¼ cup [coarsely grind]
  • Sugar – 2 tbsp
  • Saffron a pinch
  • Green cardamom powder - ½ tbsp [Optional]

Preparation

  • In a mixer jar add almonds & pistachios coarsely grind & keep aside.
  • Heat milk in a pan & let it boil.
  • Then add saffron mix well & stir continuously on low flame till the milk reduced by half.
  • Then add ground pistachio almond mixture mix well then add sweet condensed milk mix well.
  • Then add green cardamom powder & cut off heat, let it cool.
  • Then pour the mixture into matka bowls& place it in the freezer to set. [Apr 9 to 10 hours]
  • Then unmold & serve immediately.

  • For chocolate kulfi add cocoa powder, sweet condensed milk [Milk maid] & khoya/mava
