How to make Carrot badam kheer video


Ingredients

  • Carrots -1 cup [finely grated]
  • Badam [Almond] - 1/4 cup
  • Ghee [melted butter] – 2 tbsp
  • Milk-1 ½ cups
  • Sugar- ¼ cup
  • Cardamom powder – ½ tbsp
  • Cashew Nut & pista-1 tbsp

Preparation

  • .
  • Wash & soak almond [badam] in hot water for 1 hour
  • Then peel off the skin
  • Heat pan add 1 tbsp ghee add carrots & almonds sauté for 2 min
  • Then put it in a mixie jar, grind to smooth puree with 1/2 cup off milk
  • Heat pan add carrot almond puree, milk, & cook for 3 min
  • Heat pan with ghee then roast cashew nuts, raisins or pista
  • Then add cardamom & roasted nuts, cut off heat.
  • Serve hot or cold.

Tip

  • For another variation of carrot payasam use condensed milk or jaggery
