How to make Carrot badam kheer video
Ingredients
- Carrots -1 cup [finely grated]
- Badam [Almond] - 1/4 cup
- Ghee [melted butter] – 2 tbsp
- Milk-1 ½ cups
- Sugar- ¼ cup
- Cardamom powder – ½ tbsp
- Cashew Nut & pista-1 tbsp
Preparation

- Wash & soak almond [badam] in hot water for 1 hour
- Then peel off the skin
- Heat pan add 1 tbsp ghee add carrots & almonds sauté for 2 min
- Then put it in a mixie jar, grind to smooth puree with 1/2 cup off milk
- Heat pan add carrot almond puree, milk, & cook for 3 min
- Heat pan with ghee then roast cashew nuts, raisins or pista
- Then add cardamom & roasted nuts, cut off heat.
- Serve hot or cold.
Tip
- For another variation of carrot payasam use condensed milk or jaggery

Wash & soak badam in hot / warm water for 1 hour
Peel off the skin
Chop 2 carrots
Heat 1 tbsp ghee, add almond, carrot for 3 min
Now its ready, cut off heat
Put roasted carrot, almond coarsely grind
Add milk, grind to fine puree
Carrot almond puree ready
Heat pan, pour ground mixture
Add milk
Add sugar
Add cardamom powder
Cut off heat
Heat 1 tbsp ghee roast cashews & pistachios
Add roasted nuts
Delicious carrot badam kheer ready
Gajar badam ki kheer / payasam, serve hot or cold
