Saffron Coconut Burfi

Ingredients
- Saffron - a pinch [soaked in warm milk]
- Coconut [Grated] - 1 cup
- Almonds [Grated] – 2 tbsp
- Cardamom powder - ½ tbsp
- Sugar - ½ cup
- Water - ¼ cup
- Ghee - 4 tbsp
Preparation
- Heat pan with ghee, sugar and water let it to boil. Once bubbles are started coming add grated coconut and mix well in a low flame.
- Add saffron soaked milk mix well then add ghee & mix well.
- Add grated almonds and cardamom powder mix well. Mixture comes out together then sprinkle ghee and saffron and cut off heat.
- Grease tray with ghee then spread this mixture and leave this in room temperature till set.
- Then cut this in to diamond shape and keep it in air tight container.
Note
- You can use ghee roast grated coconut
