Broken wheat rava uppittu | Vegetable wheat rava upma karnataka style-Pressure cooker Method

Ingredients
- Broken wheat rava- 2 cups
- Carrot-1[cut into cubes]
- Potato-1 [cut into cubes]
- Coconut- 1 ½ inch [thinly sliced]
- Tomato - 1 [chopped]
- Onion-1[sliced]
- Green chilli-1[chopped]
- Mustard seeds-1 tbsp
- Bengal gram-1 tbsp
- Urad dal-1 tbsp
- Curry leaves- 1 spring
- Ginger-2tbsp [finely chopped]
- Coriander leaves-2 tbsp [chopped]
- Water- 4 ½ to 5 cups
- Salt to taste
- Oil – 2 tbsp
Method
- Dry roast wheat rava.
- Heat pressure cooker then add oil. Put mustard seeds. Once it’s crackled add Bengal gram, urad dal sauté gently then add onion sauté well then add ginger, green chilli, curry leaves.
- Add carrot, potatoes, tomato and coconut sauté well.
- Add water and salt and mix well. Once water start boiling add broken wheat rava mix & well then cover it and cook for 5 to 6 whistle.
- Then add coriander leaves mix well and serve hot with coconut chutney, pickle or chips.
