Ingredients

  • Onion – 3 [finely chopped]
  • Garlic – 2 cloves [finely chopped]
  • Curry leaves – 1 spring
  • Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Bengal gram – 1 tbsp
  • Urad dal – 1 tbsp
  • Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Water – 3 tbsp
  • Oil – 2 tbsp

Preparation Method

  • Heat oil in a pan then add mustard seeds. Once it’s spluttered add Bengal gram & urad dal.
  • Add onion sauté till soft then add garlic sauté.
  • Add curry leaves, salt, turmeric & red chilli powder sauté.
  • Add water mix well then leave it for 2 min. Once raw smell out cut off heat & serve hot with idli or dosa.
