Potato capsicum masala | Aloo Capsicum poori masala-How to make-Stepwise Pictures

Ingredients
- Potato – 3
- Capsicum – 1 [cut into stripes]
- Tomato – 1 [chopped]
- Onion – 1 [sliced]
- Ginger – 1 inch [mashed]
- Garlic – 2 [mashed]
- Green chilli – 1 [sliced]
- Curry leaves – 1 spring
- Coriander leaves – 1 spring [chopped]
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
- Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
- Bengal gram – 1 tbsp
- Urad dal – 1 tbsp
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
Method
- Wash and boil potatoes in a pressure cooker for 3 whistles. Then peel and chop.
- Heat oil in a pan then add mustard seeds & let it splutter, Then add Bengal gram and urad dal.
- Add onion & salt sauté till soft. Then add ginger and garlic sauté gently. Then add green chilli , capsicum, curry leaves sauté.
- Add tomato and turmeric powder mix well & sauté till soft.
- Add boiled potatoes, turmeric powder and salt mix well & add water then leave it for boil & gravy becomes thick.
- Cut off heat sprinkle coriander leaves then serve hot with poori or chapati.
How to make Potato Capsicum Poori/Chapati Masala-Stepwise Pictures
Boiled Potatoes
Cut in to 4 pieces
Peel the skin off
Heat oil in a pan add mustard, urad dal, bengal gram. Then add onion, ginger,garlic, green chilli, capsicum, turmeric powder saute
Add curry leaves & tomato saute till soft
Add Potatoes
Add red chilli powder & mash well
Add water & salt mix well, leaves it for boil & gravy becomes thick then cut off heat sprinkle coriander leaves
Aloo capsicum poori masala is ready-serve hot with puri or chapti
