Bhindi tomato curry | Ladies finger tomato sabzi

Ingredients
- Bhindi [Ladies finger, Okra, vendakkai] – 1 cup [chopped]
- Tomato -2 [chopped]
- Garlic – 2 cloves [mashed]
- Curry leaves – 1 spring
- Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
- Cumin seeds – ½ tbsp
- Bengal gram – 1 tbsp
- Urad dal – ½ tbsp
- Red chilli powder – ½ tbsp
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tbsp
- Garam masaa powder – ½ tbsp
- Coriander powder – ½ tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Water as required
Method
- Heat oil in a pan then add mustard seeds & let it splutter. Then add Bengal gram, urad dal & cumin seeds.
- Add garlic sauté then add tomato sauté till soft.
- Add okra, salt, turmeric & red chilli powder sauté. Then sprinkle water & sauté till stickiness out.
- Add garam masala & coriander powder mix well & leave it for 2 min. Then cut off heat & serve hot with rice.
