Dill leaves moong dal curry | Shepu bhaji-How to make-Stepwise pictures

Ingredients
- Dill leaves[Fennel] – 1 cup
- Moong dal – 1/4 cup
- Onion - 1 [finely chopped]
- Ginger & garlic – 1 tbsp each [finely chopped]
- Green chilli – 1 [chopped]
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Redchilli powder – ¼ tsp
- Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
- Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
- Chana dal & urad dal – 1 tbsp
- Hing - 1/4 tsp
- Curry leaves- 1 spring
- Dry red chilli - 1
- Salt to taste
- Ghee – 2 tbsp
- Oil – 1 tbsp
Preparation
- Pluck, wash & chop dill leaves..
- Dry roast moong dal, wash
- Boil moong dal with turmeric powder, red chilli powder till soft.
- Heat oil and ghee in a pan then add Mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal & hing..
- Then add curry leaves, dry red chilli, ginger and garlic sauté gently.
- Add green chilli & onion saute till soft
- Add chopped dill leaves sauté gently then add turmeric and red chilli powder saute for 2 min.
- Add cooked moong dal & salt cook for 5 min.
- Once its ready, cut off heat then serve hot with rice, chapthi.

Wash dill leaves 2 to 3 times
Roughly chop
Boil roasted moong dal with turmeric & red chilli powder till soft
Heat pan, add ghee and oil, add seasoning ingredients, onion, garlic, hing & dill leaves
Add turmeric & red chilli powder
Saute for a min
Add moong dal
Mix well, let it boil for 5 min
Now its ready, cut off heat
Dill leaves moong dal curry ready
Serve hot with roti, chapathi or rice
