Ingredients
- Idli Rice – 3 cups
- Black urad dal[Karuppu ulundhu] – ¾ cup
- Fenugreek – 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
Method
- Wash and Soak idli rice, black urad dal with fenugreek separately for 6 hours.
- Drain water then grind well. Add salt and leave the batter for fermentation [approximately. 8 hours].
- Grease idly plates with gingelly oil. Pour idly batter. Then steam it for 10 min.
- Serve hot with coconut chutney and Sambar.
