Idli | Idly | South Indian Idli-How to make-Stepwise Pictures [Idli cooker method]

Ingredients
- Idli Rice – 4 cups
- Urad dal – 1 cup
- Fenugreek – 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
Preparation
- Wash and Soak rice, urad dal with fenugreek separately for 6 hours.
- Drain water then grind well. Add salt and leave the batter for fermentation [approximately. 8 hours].
- Grease idly plates with gingelly oil. Pour idly batter. Then steam it for 10 min.
- Serve hot with coconut chutney and Sambar.
