Yellow solam dosai | Yellow Sorghum dosa | Jolada [Jowar] dosa-How to make-Stepwise pictures

Ingredients
- Yellow grain sorghum [Manjal Cholam, solam, Jowar]- 2 cups
- Urad dal – ½ cup
- Fenugreek seeds - 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
Preparation
- Wash and soak yellow sorghum, urad dal, and fenugreek seeds separately overnight. Then drain water.
- In a grinder add yellow sorghum & grind to nice batter with enough water.
- Then add urad dal & grind to smooth batter with enough water.
- Transfer both batter to a container then add sea salt / normal salt then mix well cover it and leave it for fermentation (approximately 8 hours).
- Heat iron dosa pan, sprinkle 1 tbsp of water then pour batter, spread the batter quickly to round shape and make sure it not too thick.
- Sprinkle oil over the dosa & cook till crisp.
- Once dosa becomes crispy fold & transfer to a plate & serve hot with chutney and sambar

Wash & Soak yellow solam overnight
Wash & soak urad dal & fenugreek for 4 hours
Grind solam, urad separately then add sea salt & let it ferment.
After fermentation- solam dosa batter is ready
Sola dosai batter consistency, add water if required
Mix well
Heat iron dosa tawa pour batter, evenly spread, sprinkle oil , & cook till crisp on both sides
Now sola dosai is ready take it out and serve hot with coconut chutney
