Methi paratha | Fenugreek leaves paratha-How to make-Step by step photos

Ingredients
- Wheat flour – 1 cup
- Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
- Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
- Fenugreek leaves [Methi leaves] – ½ cup [chopped]
- Salt to taste
- Oil / ghee – 1 tbsp
- Water as needed
Preparation Method
- In a bowl add wheat flour, red chilli powder, turmeric powder , salt, Methi leaves & pour 1 tbsp oil mix well.
- Then add water Knead it and make soft dough. Cover it & leave it for 5 min.
- Divide the dough into equal size balls.
- Sprinkle flour then roll out each ball in to 6 to 7 inch circle shape paratha.
- Heat iron dosa tawa then place paratha & add 1 tsp ghee on it.
- Turnover and cook another side
- Cook till both sides are golden brown & well cooked.
- Then cut off heat serve hot with pickle, raitha or cucumber.
How to make Methi paratha-Stepwise pictures
In a bowl add wheat flour, salt, turmeric & red chilli powder.
Fenugreek leaves
Add chopped fenugreek leaves, water mix well & make soft dough
Methi paratha dough is ready, cover it & leave it for 5 min.
Sprinkle flour roll out to thick or thin chapati
Heat iron dosa tawa place paratha, add 1 tsp of ghee & cook both sides
Add ghee, flip over & cook other side
Methi paratha is ready.
Fenugreek leaves paratha serve hot with curd or pickle
