Ingredients

  • Raw banana[vazhakkai] – 1 [boiled, peeled, grated]
  • Corn flour – 1 tbsp
  • Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
  • Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
  • Dry mango ppowder – ½ tsp
  • Garam masala powder – ½ tsp
  • Onion – 1 [finely chopped]
  • Green chilli – 1 tbsp [finely chopped]
  • Curry leaves – 2 [chopped]
  • Coriander leaves – 2 springs [chopped]
  • Coconut grated – 3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for deep frying [Sunflower or groundnut oil]

Preparation Method

  • In a bowl add all ingredients mix well & make soft dough.
  • Then divide the dough into equal size balls.
  • Heat enough oil in a pan then put raw banan balls & deep fry till golden brown & crisp on medium hot oil.
  • Once its ready take it out & drain on absorbent paper.
  • Serve hot with tomato sauce, chilli sauce or green chutney
