Vazhakkai kola urundai / Raw banana kofta [spicy fried balls]-How to make-Step by step photos

Ingredients
- Raw banana[vazhakkai] – 1 [boiled, peeled, grated]
- Corn flour – 1 tbsp
- Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
- Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
- Dry mango ppowder – ½ tsp
- Garam masala powder – ½ tsp
- Onion – 1 [finely chopped]
- Green chilli – 1 tbsp [finely chopped]
- Curry leaves – 2 [chopped]
- Coriander leaves – 2 springs [chopped]
- Coconut grated – 3 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil for deep frying [Sunflower or groundnut oil]
Preparation Method
- In a bowl add all ingredients mix well & make soft dough.
- Then divide the dough into equal size balls.
- Heat enough oil in a pan then put raw banan balls & deep fry till golden brown & crisp on medium hot oil.
- Once its ready take it out & drain on absorbent paper.
- Serve hot with tomato sauce, chilli sauce or green chutney
How to make vazhakkai kola urundai / Raw banana kofta-Stepwise pictures
Boil, grate raw banana then add corn flour
Add onion
Add garlic, coriander, curry leaves, coconut, salt & masala powder mix well make soft dough
Divide the dough into equal size balls
Heat oil in a pan add raw banana balls, deep fry till golden brown & crisp on medium hot oil
Now balls are ready take it out then drain on absorbent paper
Raw banana kofta/ vazhakkai spicy fried balls, serve hot with green chutney
