Oyster mushroom curry By


Cuisine Style: Tamil nadu, South india | Preparation&Cooking Time: 5 minutes | To Serve: 4 | Type : Curry,Masala, kulambhu | Take with : Rice, idli, dosa, roti, paratha

Ingredients

  • Oyster mushroom [Kalan] – 2 [Fresh]
  • Sambar onion [shallots] – 5 [sliced]
  • Garlic – 2 cloves [finely chopped]
  • Ginger – 1 tbsp [finely chopped]
  • Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
  • Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Curry leaves – 1 spring
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Water as needed

Method

  • Pluck & wash mushrooms
  • Then cut into long stripes
  • Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds & let it splutter then add curry leaves fry.
  • Add onion, ginger, & garlic sauté till soft.
  • Add mushrooms, turmeric, red chilli powder & salt sauté for a min.
  • Sprinkle water mix well, cover lid & cook till soft [Apr 3 min]
  • Then cut off heat & serve hot with rice.
