Ingredients
- Oyster mushroom [Kalan] – 2 [Fresh]
- Sambar onion [shallots] – 5 [sliced]
- Garlic – 2 cloves [finely chopped]
- Ginger – 1 tbsp [finely chopped]
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
- Curry leaves – 1 spring
- Salt to taste
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Water as needed
Method
- Pluck & wash mushrooms
- Then cut into long stripes
- Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds & let it splutter then add curry leaves fry.
- Add onion, ginger, & garlic sauté till soft.
- Add mushrooms, turmeric, red chilli powder & salt sauté for a min.
- Sprinkle water mix well, cover lid & cook till soft [Apr 3 min]
- Then cut off heat & serve hot with rice.
