Cuisine Style: Tamilndau, South india | Preparation&Cooking Time: 10 minutes | To Serve: 4 | Type : Dry Curry,Masala | Take with : Rice, roti, paratha

Ingredients

  • Potato -3
  • Red chilli powder – ¾ tbsp
  • Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
  • Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Garlic – 2 cloves [finely chopped or mashed]
  • Curry leaves – 1 spring
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil – 2 tbsp

Method

  • Wash and peal the skin, then chop into small thin squares.
  • Heat oil in a broad pan add mustard seeds, let its splutter then add curry leaves & garlic fry.
  • Add chopped potatoes, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt mix well, sauté till soft & golden brown.
  • Serve hot with rice or chapatti.
