3 ingredient butter cookies are simple, eggless, healthy, no baking powder, oil free, ovenless, eggless biscuits. Perfect melt in mouth biscuits. No deep frying process required. No kneading required.
Ingredients
- All purpose flour - 3/4 to 1 cup
- Butter– 1/2 cup
- Sugar – 1/3 cup [Powdered]
- Milk - 4 tbsp
Preparation
- Take 5 littre pressure cooker, **Remove gasket & whistle from the pressure cooker lid
- Then place grid then preheat for 10 min on low flame.
- In a bowl add soft butter beat till smooth and fluffy
- add powdered sugar mix well and beat till fluffy
- Add wheat flour, mix gently to make crumble texture
- Add milk to make tight dough [Dont knead too much]
- Place dough on butter sheet roll out into thiock sheet
- Then cut into heart shape using cookie cutter
- Arrange it on the butter & flour greased tray.
- Then Place the tray on pressure cooker grind.
- Close lid & cook for 25 to 30 min on low to medium flame.
- Once its ready carefully remove baking tray then un-mould & let it cool for 5 min.
- Put it on airtight container use within 1 month
Tips & variations
- If you knead the dough for long time cookis will become hard
- You can refrigerate dough for 2 days
- For chocolate flavour add cocoa powder
- If you dont like sugar add honey, maple syrp, dates syrup or jaggery
- You can make any shape
- OTG baking is best compare to Oven
- Please avoid non-stick pan for baking.

Soft butter cookies
Place Stand inside the iron kadai
Cover lid, pre-heat pan for 15 min on medium flame
Add butter [Soft, unsalted]
Beat till fluff & soft
Add 1/3 cup powdered sugar & jaggery
Beat well till fluff & soft
Add All purpose flour or maida
Mix well
Add milk, mix well, mak soft dough, Dont knead it for long time
Dough ready, Divide the mixture into equal size balls
Using fork, make markings
Place it in a pan,
Place it in iron kadai
Cover lid, ook for 35 min on medium flame
35 min later, carefully remove
Perfect melt in mouth butter cookies ready
Store in an airtight container, use within 1 month
