Wheat paper roast | Godhumai roast-How to make-Step by step photos & Video

Ingredients
- Whole wheat -1 cup
- Urad dal - ¼ cup
- Fenugreek seeds – ½ tbsp
- Rice flour - ½ cup
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
Preparation
- Wash and Soak whole wheat, urad dal, idli rice and fenugreek seeds separately for 8 hours.
- Drain water then grind to nice batter.
- Transfer the batter to a container then add sea salt, mix well ,cover it & leave it for fermentation (approximately 8 hours).
- After fermentation mix well (add water if the batter is too thick).
- Heat iron Dosa tawa, sprinkle 1 tbsp of water then pour batter, spread the batter quickly to round shape and make sure it not too thick.
- Sprinkle oil over the dosa & cook till crisp.
- Once dosa becomes crispy fold & transfer to a plate & serve hot with chutney and sambar

Wheat paper roast ingredients
Add soaked whole wheat
Add enough water, grind to smooth batter
Wheat batter ready
Transfer batter, keep it aside
Add soaked rice, urad dal, fenugreek seeds, & water finely grind
Batter ready
Transfer rice & urad dal batter
Add sea salt mix well
Leave it for fermentation[Apr. 8 hours]
After 8 hours, batter ready, add water if required
Heat iron dosa tawa, pour batter
Immediately spread into round shape
Cover lid cook till crisp
Pour 1 tbsp oil around the roast
Fold & serve hot with chutney or sambar
