Ingredients
- Raw Banana[vazhakkai, Kacha kela] -1 [Peel off the skin & cut into cubes]
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
- Curry leaves – 1 spring
- Bengal gram - 1/2 tbsp
- Urad dal- 1/2 tbsp
- Coriander seeds- 1 tbsp
- Fenugreek seeds -2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Water as needed
Method
- Dry roast fenugreek & coriander seeds separately then grind
- Pressure cook raw banana for 2 whistles
- Then peel off the skin, & cut into cubes
- In a bowl add cubed raw banana, turmerci powder, red chilli powder ,coriander powder, and salt mix well leave it for 5 min
- Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds & let it splutter then add bengal gram & urad dal.
- Add curry leaves, asafoetida, fenugreek powder saute for a min
- Add raw banana roast for 5 min.
- Then cut off heat & Serve hot with rice.

Pressure cook raw banana for 2 whistles
Peel off the skin
Dry roast fenugreek seeds
Grind to coarse powder
Fenugreek powder ready, keep it aside
Dry roast coriander seeds
Coarsely grind
Coriander powder ready
Cut raw banana into cubes
Add turmeric, salt, red chilli powder
Add coriander powder, mix ell, leave it for 5 min
Heat 2 tbsp oil
Add mustard seeds, let ti splutter
Add chana dal, urad dal
Add asafotida
Add fenugreek powder
Add curry leaves
Add raw banana cubes, roast till 5 min or till it crisp
Roast on low to medium flame
Fenugreek raw banana roast ready, serve hot with rice
