Cuisine Style: Tamil Nadu, South India | Cooking Time: 10 minutes | To Serve: 3 | Type : Breakfast | Take with : Coconut Chutney, sambar

Ingredients

  • Rava - 1.5 cups
  • Oats - 1 cup
  • Curd - 1 cup
  • Water - 1 cup
  • Eno - 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Green chili - 1
  • Asafoetida - 1 tsp
  • Ginger - 1 tbsp
  • Curry leaves , coriander leaves - 2 tbsp

Preparation

  • Grind rolled oats in to fine powder
  • In a bowl add rava, oats powder, curd, water, salt, green chilli, ginger, curry, coriander leaves mix well, leave it for 30 min
  • Add eno/baking soda mix well
  • Grease thatte idli plates with gingelly oil.
  • Pour thatte idly batter. Then steam it for 10 min.
  • Serve hot with coconut chutney and Sambar.
