Ingredients
- Sago –1 cup
- Idli Rice – 1 cup
- Urad dal – 1/4 cup
- Fenugreek – 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
Preparation
- Wash and Soak sago, idli rice, urad dal & fenugreek for 6 hours.
- Drain water then put it in a mixer jar / wet grinder, grind to smooth batter.
- Add salt and leave the batter for fermentation [approximately. 8 hours].
- Check the consistency, Add water if required.
- Heat iron dosa pan, pour batter, pour 1 tbsp of oil, cover lid & cook,
- Once sago dosa is ready, transfer to a plate & serve hot with chutney and sambar
How to make Sago dosa- Step by step photos
Take 1 cup sago
Take 1 cup idli rice
Add 1 tbsp fenugreek seeds
Add 1/4 cup urad dal
Ingredredients ready
Add water, wash 2 to 3 times
Soak it for 5 to 6 hours
After 6 hours
Add soaked ingredients in a mixer jar, grind to smooth batter
Add water if required
Batter ready
Add salt mix well
Cover lid & leave it fro fermentation
Fermented batter ready
Add water to adjuct the batter consistency
Heat dosa tawa, pour batter, gently spread
Pour 1 tbsp oil around the dosa
Now itsready, remove it from tawa
Sago dosa ready
Serve hot Javvarisi dosa with kurma
