Ingredients

  • Sago –1 cup
  • Idli Rice – 1 cup
  • Urad dal – 1/4 cup
  • Fenugreek – 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed

Preparation

  • Wash and Soak sago, idli rice, urad dal & fenugreek for 6 hours.
  • Drain water then put it in a mixer jar / wet grinder, grind to smooth batter.
  • Add salt and leave the batter for fermentation [approximately. 8 hours].
  • Check the consistency, Add water if required.
  • Heat iron dosa pan, pour batter, pour 1 tbsp of oil, cover lid & cook,
  • Once sago dosa is ready, transfer to a plate & serve hot with chutney and sambar
