Ingredients
- Rava - 2 cups
- Curd - 1 cup
- Water - 1/2 cup
- Eno - 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
Ingredients
- Mustard seeds, chana dal, urad dal - 1 tbsp
- Green chili - 1
- Asafoetida - 1 tsp
- Ginger - 1 tbsp
- Curry leave , coriander leaves - 2 tbsp
Preparation
- In a bowl add rava, curd, water, salt, mix well, leave it for 30 min
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard, chana dal, urad dal,hing, Ginger, green chilli, curry & coriander leaves saute
- Add this to rava idli mixture
- Add eno mix well
- Grease thatte idli plates with gingelly oil.
- Pour thatte idly batter. Then steam it for 10 min.
- Serve hot with coconut chutney and Sambar.

Rava Thatte idli
Add 2 cups of rava [roasted]
Add salt
Add hing
Add curd
Add water
Mix well
Make thick dosa batter then leave it for 30 min
For seasoning:- Oil, mustard, chana, urad dal, green chilli, curry leaves, ginger, hing
Add seasoned ingredients
Mix well
Add eno
2 tbsp water, mix well
Add coriander leaves
Perfect batter
Grease idli plates, pour batter
Place it in a stand
Steam it for 10 min
10 min later, remove it from idli cooker
De-mold
Soft thatter idli ready
Serve hot with chutney
