Goan sannas- Step by step photos & Video

Ingredients
- Idli Rice – 2 cups
- Karnataka kolam rice - 1 cup
- Urad dal – 1/4 cup
- Salt to taste
- Warm water - 1/5 cup
- Active dry yeast - 1 and 1/4 tsp
- Sugar - 1 tbsp
Preparation
- Wash and Soak idli rice, kolam rice , & urad dal for 5 hours.
- In a bowl ad active dry yeast, sugar, warm water, let it rice for 8 min
- Drain water then grind well, add salt mix well
- Add activated yeast in a batter, mix well then let it rice for 2 hours
- Grease small bowl or cups with with gingelly oil. Pour batter.
- Then steam it for 20 min on medium flame
- Serve hot with coconut chutney and Sambar.

Add 2 cups idli rice
Add 1 cup karnataka kolam rice
Add 1/4 cup urad dal
Wash and soak it for 5 hours
5 hours later, drain water
Add 1 and 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
Add sugar
Add warm water
Mix well, let it rise for 8 min
Put soaked ingredients in a mixie jar
Add water, finely grind
Batter ready
Transfer batter to a bowl
Add salt
Mix well
Add activated yeast
Mix well
Batter ready
Cover it, let it rise
2 hours later
Batter ready
Grease bowl with sesame oil
Perfect batter ready
Pour batter
Place it in a idli cooker
Place it in a large bowl
Place large cups in a idli cooker
Cover lid, cook for 20 min on medium flame
After 20 min
Soft and spongy sannas ready
Perfect mini sannas
Serve hot wiht sambar
