Murungai keerai godhumai rotti

Ingredients

  • Murungai keerai [drumstick leaves]– 1 cup [plucked, washed, chopped]
  • Yellow & red capsicum – 2 tbsp [finely chopped]
  • Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
  • Coconut – 3 tbsp [grated]
  • Onion – 1 [finely chopped]
  • Green chilli – 1 [finely chopped]
  • Garlic – 2 [finely chopped]
  • Wheat flour – 1 cup
  • Curd – 2 tbsp
  • Ghee or oil – 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed

Method

  • Heat oil in a pan add onion, garlic, green chilli, drumstick leaves , & turmeric powder sauté well.
  • Add water & salt cook till soft.
  • In a bowl add wheat flour, salt, curd, coconut, yellow red capsicum, sautéed drumstick leaves, and water mix well.
  • The batter should be softer that chapatti dough and little sticky.
  • Heat iron dosa tawa, put batter on tawa, dip fingers in water, immediately spread the batter gently and bring to round shape then pour 2 tbsp of oil around the roti.
  • Cook both the sides and serve hot with coconut chutney
