Bread cheese pakora | Stuffed cheese bread pakoda recipe-Healthy indian snack for kids

Ingredients
- Bread slices [Cottage cheese] – 2
- Green chutney* – 2 tbsp [Add mint, coriander leaves, green chilli & salt with 2 tbsp of water in a stone mortar & grind well]
- Tomato sauce or tomato ketchup– 2 tbsp
- Cheese – 1 slice
- Oil for deep frying
For batter
- Gram flour [Besan]– 4 tbsp
- Rice flour [Arisi maavu]– 1 tbsp
- Corn flour – 1 tbsp
- Pepper powder – ¼ tsp
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Red chilli powder – ¼ tsp
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
- In a bowl add all ingredients & make smooth batter [cream consistency].
Preparation Method
- Cut & remove the edges of the bread.
- Take first bread slice, place 1 tbsp of green chutney then evenly spread.
- Then place cheese slice.
- Grease another bread slice with tomato sauce & green chutney.
- Then place it on first slice [like sandwich] .
- Cut the bread into 4 pieces.
- Dip stuffed bread pieces in the gram flour batter & deep fry till crisp & golden brown [Medium hot oil].
- Then drain on absorbent paper.
- Serve hot with green chutney or tomato sauce
