Biscuit custard cake is simple, no bake, dessert with only marie biscuits, coffee decoction & eggless custard. We can make it within 10 min. Instant custard contains only instant custard powder, sugar & milk. Vanilla and cardamom is optional. We can make lots of recipes using marie biscuits. For 5 min chocolate biscuit cake recipe:-Sugar, cocoa powder, butter, milk, mix well. Then let it boil till it slightly thickens. Then roughly crush marie biscuits then pour prepared chocolate syrup. Add almonds, cashews, pistachios or chocolate chips. Refrigerate till set. For glaze:- Heat chocolate chips with coconut oil or butter. Pour over the cake then sprinkle chocolate chips or crushed biscuits. Serve immediately.No oven required,eggless, No flour required. We can make this cake using any biscuits [ Parle-G, Oreo, bourborn, britannia, sunfeast etc]
Ingredients
- Marie biscuits - 15
- Instant coffee decoction - 1/4 cup[Warm water, sugar, 3 tbsp nescafe classic]
- Milk - 500 ml
- Sugar – 1/4 cup
- Custard powder –3 tbsp
- Green Cardamom powder- 1 tsp or vanilla essence.
Preparation
- Heat water in a pan, add sugar, & instant coffee powder mix well then let it cool.
- Heat 400ml milk in a pan & let it boil.
- When boiling stir continuously without burning.
- In a bowl add 3 tbsp custard powder & 100 ml milk mix well without lumps
- Add custard mixture into the boiling milk, stir well for 3 min
- Add sugar & cardamom powder mix well.
- Once its ready, cut off heat, let cool & refrigerate.
- Final cake layer arrangement:-
- Dip marie biscuit in coffee mixture, place it in a tray or cheese cake mold, arrange
- Add custard mixture, evenly spread.
- 3 layer:-Dip biscuits in coffee mixture, arrange in a tray
- 4th layer:-custard mixture, evenly spread.
- Repeat the process for 5 layers
- Then Sprinkle cocoa powder, freeze it for 30 to 45 min
- Then cut into squares or rectangles & serve immediately.
Variations
- You can make mango custard biscuit pudding
- For chocolate custard add cocoa powder or dark chocoalte mixture
- For white chocoalte custard add white chocoalte chips.
- Rose fruit custard add rose syrup.
- You can add any seasonal fruits
- You can make this no bake cake using cream cheese & condensed milk instead of custard
- For instant homemade custard add corn flour, milk powder, cardamom powder.
- For traditional custard:-Milk, fresh cream, vanilla, eggs.
- For green custard pudding add mocha green tea powder
