Ingredients

  • Cucumber – 1
  • Coconut – 2 tbsp
  • Green chilli - 1
  • Curry leaves – 1 spring
  • Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
  • Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Asafetida a pinch
  • Salt to taste
  • Coconut oil – 1 ½ tbsp
  • Water as needed

Preparation

  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds & let it splutter.
  • Add green chilli, curry leaves & asafetida sauté.
  • Add coconut, turmeric powder, saute.
  • Add cucumber, salt sauce for a min.
  • Cut off heat, serve hot with rice.

Tip

  • Use coconut oil for better flavor.
