Pazha Norukku | Nenthra pazham nurukku [Banana jamun]-Traditional Kerala Sweet

Ingredients
- Banana [Nenthra pazham] -1
- Ghee – 5 tbsp
- Green cardamom -2
- Sugar – 1 cup
- Water – ½ cup
Preparation
- Slice the Nenthra pazham into 1 inch pieces.
- Heat ghee in a pan, shallow fry Nenthra pazham pieces till golden brown.
- For sugar syrup: - Heat water & sugar in a pan mix well. Once sugar dissolved, add green cardamom leave it for 5 min in medium flame. Then cut off heat.
- Then add shallow fried banana slices & leave it for 15 min. Then serve.
Note
- You can add Jaggery instead of sugar
