Ingredients
- Brown Bread [Wheat bread]– 3 slices
- Milk - 2 cups
- Saffron – ½ tbsp
- Sugar – 3 tbsp
- Almonds, cashew nuts, pistachios – 3 tbsp
- Ghee – 2 tbsp
Preparation
- Cut & remove the brown edges of the bread. Then cut into circle/round shapes.
- Heat ghee in a pan roast almonds, pistachios & chop or grate & keep it aside.
- Heat ghee in a pan then roast bread slices till golden brown [one side].
- Heat milk in a pan & let it boil.
- When boiling add saffron & wait till milk reduces to half & slightly thick.
- Add sugar stir continuously till light cream consistency [rabdi].
- Then add chopped nuts & cut off heat.
- Arrange ghee roasted bread slices in a plate, Pour already prepared milk saffron mixture then garnish with nuts, serve immediately
Tip
- For another variation of Brown bread rasmalai use condensed milk or brown sugar

Cut brown bread into round shape
Ghee roasted almonds pistachio cashews and raisins chop
Boil milk, add saffron, let it cook till it reduced to half
Add sugar, stir well & let it thickens
Stir continuously on medium flame till cream rabdi consistency
Now its ready, cut off heat
Heat pan add ghee, toast bread slices
Toast both sides
Pour prepared rabdi
