Sago Vegan Kheer | Javvarisi vegan payasam -How to make-Stepwise pictures

Ingredients
- Sago[Javvarisi] -1 cup
- Oil– 2 tbsp
- Coconut milk-½ cup
- Sugar- 1 cup
- Cardamom powder – ½ tbsp
- Edible camphor[Pachai katpuram] - mustard size
- Raisins - 7
- Cashew Nut - 4
- Water – 2 cups
Preparation
- Wash & soak sago overnight or 5 hours
- Add 2 tbsp oil a pan, roast cashew nuts, & raisins, keep it aside.
- In the same pan add 2 cups of water, let it boil
- Add sago cook till color changed to transparent
- Add sugar let it boil.
- Add coconut milk, let it boil for 3 min.
- Add cardamom powder, mix well then cut off heat.
- Add ghee roasted cashew nut,& raisins. Serve hot or cold.
Tip
- For another variation of sago payasam use condensed milk or palm jaggery
How to make sago vegan payasam-Stepwise pictures[Simple, Easy & Delicious]
Add 2 tbsp oil in a pan
Add cashews roast
Add raisins roast
Add 2 cups of water, let it boil
Add 1 cup soaked sago, cook till color changed to transparent
Now its ready
Add sugar, let it boil for 2 min
Add coconut milk,
let it boil for 3 min
Add cardamom powder, cut off heat
