Ingredients
- Nungu[palmyra palm, ice apple]- 1 fruit
- Milk - 1 ltr
- Sugar / Jaggery- 1/4 cup
- Cardamom powder – ½ tbsp
Preparation
- Heat pan, add milk, let it cook till it reduced to 1/2
- Add sugar, cardamom powder, let it cool[3/4 th]
- Add nungu flesh, mix well, serve immediately
Tip
- For another variation of nungu payasam use condensed milk/ coconut milk/almond milk or palm jaggery
- You can add nuts or roasted coconut.
