Jackfruit payasam | Chakka pradhaman-How to make-Stepwise pictures

Ingredients
- Jack fruit -1 cup or 5 fruits
- Ghee – 3 tbsp
- Coconut Milk-1 ½ cups
- Jaggery- ½ cup
- Cardamom powder – ½ tbsp
- Raisins - 7
- Cashew Nut - 4
- Water – 1/4 cup
Preparation
- Wash & remove jackfruit seeds then chop.
- Heat ghee in a pan, roast cashew nuts, & raisins, keep it aside.
- Heat jaggery & water in a pan, let it boil for 3 min then strain to remove impurities.
- In the same pan add chopped jackfruit saute for 3 min.
- Add strained jaggery cook for 5 min.
- Add coconut milk let it boil for 3 min on low flame.
- Finally add cardamom powder then cut off heat & leave it for 3 min.
- Add ghee roasted cashew nut,& raisins. Serve hot or cold.
Tip
- For another variation of jackfruit payasam use condensed milk or sugar

Perfect sweet seasonal jackfruit
Take ripe jackfruit
Chop finely
Ghee roast cashews, raisins
Add chopped jackfruit, saute for 3 min
Heat jaggery & water, let it boil
Now its ready, cut off heat
Strain & boil for 5 min
Add cardamom powder
Add coconut milk, let it boil for 3 min on low flame
Now its ready, cut off heat
Delicious chakka pradhaman ready, serve hot or cold
