Kavuni arisi ladoo | Black rice laddu-How to Make-Stepwise Pictures & Video

This black rice is rich in iron and fibre. It prevents early diabetic. As it has protein and vitamin E, it makes healthier skin. This is best rice for making sweet. So I have used to make Kavuni rice Laddu. More Kavuni rice sweets on its way.
Ingredients
- Black rice[Kavuni arisi] – 1 cup
- Jaggery – 1/2 cup
- Coconut – 1/4 cup[Grated]
- Green Cardamom powder – 1 tbsp
- Sugar – 2 tbsp
- Ghee – 1/4 cup + 4 tbsp
Preparation
- Wash & soak black rice for 2 hours.
- Then drain water, spread over the cotton cloth, leave it for 1 hour.
- Heat pan, add black rice, roast for 3 min or roast till you get nice aroma.
- Add 1 tbsp ghee roast for 5 min then cut off heat let ti cool
- Heat same pan, add 2 tbsp ghee roast cashews & raisins.
- Add coconut roast till light brown.
- Put roasted black rice in to the mixer jar grind to fien powder
- Add jaggery finely grind with black rice.
- Add this mixture to the roasted coconut mixture, add cardamom powder, roasted nuts, raisins saute for 3 min.
- Add hot ghee, mix well, then make lemon size ladoos out of the mixture.
- Place it in an airtight container use within 1 week.

Black rice-Kavuni arisi
Take 1 glass or 1 cup black rice
Wash & soak for 2 hours
After 2 hours, drain water
Spread over the cloth, leave it for 1 hour
heat pan, add black rice
roast till you get nice aroma
Add 1 tbsp ghee, roast for 3 min
Now its ready, cut off heat
Transfer to a plate, let it cool
Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a pan, add cashew & raisins raost till light brown
Add grated coconut, roast till light brown
Now its ready, cut off heat
add roasted black rice, grind to fine powder
add jaggery, finely grind
Heat the same pan with coconut, add roasted cashews, raisins
Add ground black rice jaggery powder, cardamom powder
Saute for 3 min
Add ghee mix well, cut off heat
Make lemon size ladoo
Healthy, and iron rich black rice ladoo ready
