Sago thalipeeth | Sabudana roti-How to make-Step by step photos

Ingredients
- Sago [Sabhudana, javvarisi] – 1 cup
- Potato [Aloo] – 2
- Peanuts – 2 tbsp [Roasted, coarsely grind]
- Rice flour – 1 tbsp
- Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
- Ginger – 1 tbsp
- Coriander leaves – 2 tbsp [finely chopped]
- Green chilli – 1 tbsp [finely chopped]
- Salt to taste
- Oil for deep frying
Method
- Soak sago in water for 20 min then drain water completely & leave it for 1.5 to 2 hours.
- Boil potatoes then peel of the skin & mash well.
- In a bowl add mashed potatoes, salt, sago, rice flour, green chilli, cumin seeds, ground peanuts & coriander leaves mix gently.
- Divide the mixture into equal size balls then flatten.
- Heat iron dosa tawa, then place prepared sago roti, pour 1 tbsp oil around the roti, cook both sides
- Then serve hot with green chutney

Soaked Sago & roasted peanuts
Boiled potato
Finely chopped coriander leaves
In a bowl add soaked sago
Add roasted peanuts
Add rice flour
Add mashed boiled potato
add coriander leaves
Add green chilli & ginger
Add cumin seeds[jeera]
Add salt
Mix well
Make balls
Place it on banana leaf
Flatten
Raw sago roti ready
Heat iron dosa tawa, pour 1 tbsp oil, place raw sago roti
Cook both side
Flip over cook another side for 2 min
Sabudana roti-Sago thalipeeth ready, serve immediately
