Sigappu arisi kara boondi | Red rice flour spicy boondi-How to make-step by step photos

Ingredients
- Gram flour [Besan, Kadalai maavu] – 1 cup
- Red rice flour [Sigappu arisi maavu] – ¼ cup
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Asafetida a pinch
- Water as needed
- Oil – for deep frying
- Salt to taste
Preparation Method
- In a bowl add red rice flour, gram flour, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, asafetida salt, water mix well & make flowing batter
- Heat enough oil in a pan then pour one ladle full of batter over the boondi ladle then gently scratch with batter ladle.
- Deep fry till crisp on medium hot oil.
- Once it ready or the oil sound disappears then take it out.
- Then keep it in an airtight container use within 5 days.

In a bowl add red rice flour, gram flour, salt, asafetida, red chilli, turmeric powder mix well
Add water mix well & make smooth batter
Heat oil in a pan pour batter over the ladle & gently wipe out with ladle or cotton cloth
Deep fry till crisp on medium hot oil
Red rice flour spicy boondi is ready. Store in an airtight container
