Ingredients

  • Gram flour [Besan, Kadalai maavu] – 1 cup
  • Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
  • Red chilli powder – 1 tbsp
  • Cashew nuts - 7
  • Groundnut - 2 tbsp
  • Curry leaves - 2 springs
  • Water as needed
  • Oil – for deep frying
  • Salt to taste

Preparation Method

  • In a bowl add gram flour, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, water mix well & make flowing consistency batter.
  • Heat enough oil in a pan then pour one ladle full of batter over the boondi ladle then gently scratch with batter ladle.
  • Deep fry till crisp on medium hot oil.
  • Once it ready remove from oil, drain on absorbent paper
  • In the same oil fry cashewnuts, groundnut, curr leaves.
  • Add fried nuts & curry leaves mix gently.
  • Then keep it in an airtight container use within 5 days.
