Ingredients
- Gram flour [Besan, Kadalai maavu] – 1 cup
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Red chilli powder – 1 tbsp
- Cashew nuts - 7
- Groundnut - 2 tbsp
- Curry leaves - 2 springs
- Water as needed
- Oil – for deep frying
- Salt to taste
Preparation Method
- In a bowl add gram flour, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, water mix well & make flowing consistency batter.
- Heat enough oil in a pan then pour one ladle full of batter over the boondi ladle then gently scratch with batter ladle.
- Deep fry till crisp on medium hot oil.
- Once it ready remove from oil, drain on absorbent paper
- In the same oil fry cashewnuts, groundnut, curr leaves.
- Add fried nuts & curry leaves mix gently.
- Then keep it in an airtight container use within 5 days.

Add gram flour, salt, turmeric, red chilli powder in a bowl mix well
Add water mix well make bajji consistency batter
Add water make flowing batter consistency
Heat oil in a pan take batter in a spoon check consistency.
Hold boondi ladle over the pan, pour batter, gently shake
Deep fry till crisp
Boondi is ready, remove from oil, drain on absorbent paper
Add fried curry leaves, cashewnuts, groundnut mix well. Store in an airtight container use with in 7 days
