Ingredients

  • Maravalli kilangu[Tapioca , kappa kizhangu]– 1
  • Turmeric powder – ½ tbsp
  • Red chilli powder – ½ tbsp
  • Asafoetida – 1 inch
  • Oil for deep fry
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed

Preparation

  • Cut and remove the skin. Then wash and thinly slice
  • In a bowl add thinely slcied tapioca, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, asafoetida and salt mix well then leave it for 10 min.
  • Heat oil in a pan, put raw tapioca slices & deep fry till crisp.
  • Then remove from oil, place it on absorbent paper, Then serve hot with tea, curd rice or any variety rice.
