Vegetable sago upma

Ingredients

  • Sago [sabudana, javvarisi] – 1 cup
  • Carrot – ¼ cup [finely chopped]
  • Capsicum– ¼ cup [finely chopped]
  • Onion – 1 [finely chopped]
  • Ginger – 1 tbsp [finely chopped]
  • Curry leaves – 1 spring
  • Green chilli – 1 [slit]
  • Coriander leaves – 2 springs [chopped]
  • Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Urad dal – 1 tbsp
  • Bengal gram – 1 tbsp
  • Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method

  • Heat oil in a pan then add mustard seeds & let it splutter. Add Bengal gram & urad dal sauté gently then add onion sauté till soft.
  • Add carrot & capsicum sauté.
  • Add ginger, green chilli and curry leaves sauté gently.
  • Add sago & salt sauté gently till sabhudana changes to transparent.
  • Once it’s cooked cut off heat then sprinkle coriander leaves serve hot.

How to make vegetable sago upma- Stepwise procedure & pictures[Simple, Easy]

Heat oil in a pan, add mustard & let it splutter. Then add bengal gram, urad dal & onion saute till softseasoning with dals & onion

Add carrot, capsicum & salt sauteAdd carrot , capsicum & salt saute
