Ingredients
- Milk -1 cup [300 ml] [boiled, chilled] or coconut milk or almond milk
- Dates- 4
- Ice cubes - 1/2 cup
Preparation
- Wash and remove seeds from dates.
- Soak dates in 150 ml hot milk for 30 min
- In a blender add chilled milk, dates, ice cubes blend till smooth & frothy
- Add ice cubes & serve immediately.
Tips & variations
- You can add carrot or beetroot
- For rich flavour add vanilla essence
- You can add vanilla ice cream.
- You can add blanched almonds / oats milk/ coconut milk.
- For extra flavour add cinnamon powder / cardamom powder /nutmeg powder.
- You can add tender coconut water
