Ingredients
- Ragi Flour [Kezhvaragu maavu]- 1 cup
- Water – 2 cups
- Salt to taste
- Sambar onion – 2 [peeled, chopped]
- Green chilli – 1 [chopped]
- Curry leaves – 1 spring
- Uppu mangai – 2 slices[Raw mango, red chilli powder, salt]
Preparation
- Heat water in a pan & let it boil then add salt.
- When boiling add ragi flour slowly & stir continuously for about 10 min. Then cut off heat
- Make ball shape out off the mixture & then immerse the balls in water about 2 to 4 hours
- In a bowl add ragi balls, curd or buttermilk, salt & enough water mix well.[Consistency should be semi solid or medium liquid]
- Then add onion, curry leaves & green chilli mix well & serve immediately with uppu mangai
