Masala ammini kozhukattai | Rice flour steamed balls-How to make-Stepwise pictures

Ingredients
- Rice flour – 1 cup
- Coconut – ½ cup [grated]
- Water – 1 cup
- Salt to taste
For seasoning
- Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
- Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
- Bengal gram – 1 tbsp
- Urad dal – 1 tbsp
- Curry leaves – 1 spring
- Coriander leaves - 2 springs[finely chopped]
- Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Green chilli – 1 [finely chopped]
- Asafetida a pinch
- Oil – 2 tbsp
Method
- Take rice flour in a thick big pan; add water & salt mix well.
- Heat pan then pour rice flour mixture & stir consistency in medium heat (to avoid lumps) till you get chapatti dough consistency.
- In a bowl add rice flour dough & coconut mix well. Then divide the dough into equal size[gooseberry size] balls.
- Place balls in steamer or idli cooker steam for 5 min.
- Heat oil in a pan then add mustard seeds & let it splutter. Add Bengal gram, urad dal & cumin seeds.
- Add green red chilli, curry leaves & asafetida mix well. Then add turmeric & red chilli powder.
- Add steamed balls mix well & cut off heat. Sprinkle coriander leaves, serve hot.

Ammini kozhukattai dough
Divide the dough into equal size balls & steam it in idli cooker for 5 min
Heat oil in a pan then seasoning with mustard, cumin,urad dal & bengal gram
Add green chilli, curry leaves, asafetida, turmeric & red chilli powder. then add steamed balls, saute well
Masala ammini kozhukattai is ready to serve.
