How to make Kongunadu village style ellu laddu video
Ingredients
- Sesame seeds [Ellu, til]– 1 cup
- Jaggery – 3/4 cup
- Water – ¼ cup
- Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
- Ginger powder - 1/4 tsp
- Ghee – 1 tbsp
Preparation
- Heat broad pan add sesame seeds, dry roast till it splutter then keep it aside.
- Heat pan add jaggery & water let it melt then drain impurities.
- Then boil jaggery till hard ball consistency.
- Add sesame seeds, cardamom powder, ginger powder & ghee mix well.
- Let it cool, then put it in a mixie jar, finely grind
- Then add 2 tbsp ghee, make balls.
- Store in an airtight container & use within 7 days
