Ingredients
- Milk - 500ml
- Vanilla ice cream - 1 or 2 scoop
- Badam Pisin - 6
- Nannari syrup - 3 tbsp
- Water - 1/4 cup [Chilled]
- Sugar - 1/4 cup
Preparation
- Soak badam pisin in water, leave it overnight
- Boil milk, add sugar then reduce to 1/2
- Caramalize sugar, then add 1/4 cup water mix well
- Add caramalized sugar into the milk mixture mix well
- take large serving glass add nannari syrup, badam pisin, reduced milk, then add vanilla ice cream, serve immediately

Madurai special jigar thanda
add almond gum in a bowl
Add water, soak it overnight
Bloomed almond gum ready
Refrigerate
Homemade nannari syrup
Boil milk, reduce to half
Boil for 3 min
Add 3 tbsp sugar
Boil until sugar melted
For caramel:- Add 3 tbsp sugar
Add 2 tbsp water
Dont mix, let it caramalize in medium flame
Started caramelizing
Mix well until sugar melts completely
Add 1/4 cup water, mix well then cut ofe heat
Perfect caramel mixture
Add caramel
Mix well, cut off heat
Pour into glass, let it cool then refrigerate or freeze it 1 hour
Chilled milk ready
In a serving glass add nannari syrup
Add badam pisin
3 tbsp badam pisin
Reduced milk/basundi with paal aadai
Only chilled milk is taste good
Vanilla ice cream or jigarthanda ice cream [Milk, caramel, sugar]
Add vanilla ice cream
Add nannari syrup
