How to make Eggless caramel bread pudding [No oven] video
Ingredients
- Bread slices - 4 to 5
- Sugar –1/4 cup
- Vanilla custard pudding - 3 tsp
- Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
- Milk -500 ml
Ingredients for Caramel
- Sugar - 1/4 cup
- Water - 1 tbsp
Preparation
- Heat pan add sugar & 1 tbsp sugar, let it cook till sugar color changes to golden brown
- Then pour into tray let it set
- Cut & remove brown edges of the bread, put it in a mixie jar, coarsely grind, keep it aside
- In a bowl add 3 tsp custard powder add 1/4 cup milk mixwell without lumps
- Boil 500 ml milk in a pan add sugar mix well
- Add custard mixture cook for 3 min
- Add bread mixture cook for a min then cut off heat
- Pour this mixtrue into caramel tray
- Place it in a steamer/ idli cooker, cook for 25 min to 30 min on medium flame
- Then remove it from steamer, let it cool for 5 min then refrigerate for 2 hours
- Then slice & serve

Put it in a mixie jar
Coarsely grind
Boil 500 ml milk
In a bowl add custard powder, milk
Mix well without lumps
Pour the mixture
BOil for 3 min
Add bread mixture
Mix well
Add vanilla essence
Now its ready, cut off heat
pour into caramel tray
Evenly spread
Boil water in a steamer, palce grid
Place bread custard tray
COver it , cook for 25 to 30 min on medium flame
After 25 min, remove it from steamer
Let it cool then refrigerate 2 hours
De-mold
Slice & serve
