Ingredients

  • Apple - 1
  • Milk -1 cup [300 ml] [boiled, chilled] or coconut milk or almond milk
  • Dates- 4
  • Sugar / honey-1 tbsp
  • Ice cubes - 1/2 cup

Preparation

  • Wash and remove seeds from dates.
  • Soak dates in 150 ml hot milk for 30 min
  • Wash & peel off apple then chop.
  • In a blender add chopped apple, chilled milk, sugar, dates, ice cubes blend till smooth & frothy
  • Add ice cubes & serve immediately.

Tips & variations

  • You can add carrot or beetroot
  • You can skip sugar.
  • For rich flavour add vanilla essence
  • You can add vanilla ice cream.
  • You can add blanched almonds / oats milk/ coconut milk.
  • You can replace milk with condensed milk.
  • You can add frozen apple
  • For extra flavour add cinnamon powder / cardamom powder /nutmeg powder.
  • You can add tender coconut water
