Apple almond milkshake is Delicious and healthy summer cooler milkshake. If you dont like milk you can skip it. Instead of milk you can add coconut water/ coconut milk / oats milk. I added chocolate chips. you can skip it or replace with cocoa powder/ chocolate syrup. In winter you can avoid ice cubes. When you make it for kids, you should blanch almonds, peel off the skin then use.

Ingredients

  • Apple - 1
  • Almond -1/4 cup
  • Honey - 4 tbsp
  • Milk -1 cup [300 ml] [boiled, chilled] or coconut milk or almond milk
  • Dates- 4
  • Chocolate chips - 1/4 cup [optional]
  • Ice cubes - 1/2 cup

Preparation

  • Soak almond in hot water for 30 min
  • Then peel off the skin
  • Wash and remove seeds from dates.
  • Wash & peel off apple then chop.
  • In a blender add chopped apple, soaked almond, chilled milk, sugar, dates, ice cubes & chocolate chips blend till smooth & frothy
  • Add ice cubes & serve immediately.

Tips & variations

  • For rich flavour add vanilla essence
  • You can add vanilla ice cream.
  • You can add oats milk/ coconut milk.
  • You can replace milk with condensed milk.
  • You can add frozen apple
  • For extra flavour add cinnamon powder / cardamom powder /nutmeg powder.
  • You can add tender coconut water
