Ingredients
- Sago [Sabudana, javvarisi]– 1 cup
- Curd [Yogurt] – 1 cup
- Coriander leaves – 2 springs [chopped]
- Pomegranate seeds – ¼ cup
- Salt to taste
Seasoning ingredients
- Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
- Green chilli – 1 [finely chopped]
- Ginger – 1 tbsp [finely chopped]
- Curry leaves – 1 spring
- Asafoetida a pinch
- Oil – 1 tbsp
Preparation
- Wash & soak sago for 2 hours then drain water.
- Steam it for 5 min the let it cool.
- In a bowl add steamed sago, curd & salt mix well.
- For seasoning: Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds & let it splutter. Add green chilli, ginger, curry leaves, & asafoetida. Then cut off heat.
- Add seasoned ingredients into sago mixture mix well.
- Then add chopped coriander leaves & pomegranate seeds mix well then serve.

In a bowl add sago
Wash & soak sago for 2 hours
Steam it for 5 min
After steaming, soft sago ready
Add salt
Heat oil, add mustard seeds
Add curry leaves
Add ginger & green chilli
Add asafoetida
Add steamed sago & seasoned ingredients
Add curd
Add salt mix well
Add coriander leaves
Add pomegranate seeds
Mix well, serve immediately
